Ned Davis or George Finley (I'm not sure which) speaking about the financial situation when Apollos were being manufactured, and the eternal search for funding to back the project. Entertainer Pat Boone was an owner of an Apollo, and even he was approached to invest in the project. Evidently, the numbers worked out to Boone being willing to put up $125,000 if another investor was secured for an additional $25,000. That was not to happen however. The search for financing made for interesting stories. Apparently, even two of the Big 3 were approached, but alas, no takers.
